I offer virtual and in-person sessions at my office in East Nashville. Once we book your initial session, we will confirm date and location (virtual or in-person).

Systemic Therapy means I don’t just look at what’s going on internally, within you - I look at the bigger picture: your relationships, your family patterns, even things like your work environment or culture. Sometimes what feels ‘wrong’ with a person is really being shaped and reinforced by the systems around them. So instead of just working with you in isolation, we look at those patterns together and consider what may benefit from shifting.
I treat you as a part of a bigger picture - your relationships, family, and environment - rather than looking at your struggles in isolation.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic modality in which ketamine is used as a compliment to psychotherapy to help eligible patients experience more frequent breakthroughs in treatment progress and sustained improvement of symptoms. Clients are paired with a licensed medical provider (a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practioner) to determine eligibility and dosing. The medication provider and I collaborate frequently and regularly during the treatment process.
Ketamine does not involve a long-term medication regimen (meaning it is not a daily medication taken long-term), but acts as a compliment to psychohtherapy. Depending on the type of ketamine prescribed, KAP is typically 6-12 sessions, but session duration and frequency are determined during a consultation with a medication provider. Psychotherapy integration is key and does not have to discontinue once the 6-12 KAP sessions are completed.
There is expanding research around the impacts of KAP to help patients get unstuck and experience long-lasting improvement in symptoms, particularly those struggling with depression, trauma history, anxiety, PTSD or those facing a roadblock in their current therapy.
Some of the latest studies have shown truly life-changing results for some patients, and I felt compelled to offer KAP to my clients should they want to pursue this avenue of care.
If you are interested in learning more about KAP or scheduling a consult, please complete and submit the contact form. I look forward to talking with you!

Both in-person and virtual sessions can be beneficial. For the first session, it can be helpful to meet in person. Virtual sessions are helpful when schedules are tight, but require privacy and a strong internet connection.

The initial therapy appointment typically lasts between 60-90 minutes. During that appointment, I’ll take the time to get to know you - what brings to therapy at this time, any history you have with therapy, your family history, and your goals for therapy. We’ll work together to establish a foundation for our work together.

To schedule a consultation call or first appointment, please fill out and submit the contact form. Once you are an established client, you will be able to contact me via phone or your patient portal.
If you opt in, I may send you appointment-related text messages (e.g., reminders). Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out. I do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

No. I’m an out-of-network provider. I made this choice for a few reasons - most importantly, insurance companies aren’t client-centered. They often limit session length and the number of sessions you can have and they require a mental health diagnosis, which isn’t always accurate or necessary for people seeking therapy.
Working out-of-network lets me tailor treatment to what you actually need, without those constraints.
I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Yep! Like most Nashvillians, I love live music. I’m a big fan of the east side - love the creativity, good vibes, and delicious food. I enjoy finding opportunities to do things that make me feel simultaneously excited and slightly out of my comfort zone - kinda like therapy. Ok, you got me - therapy can be more than slightly out of the comfort zone. But that’s kinda the point, and we’ll navigate that together!
